week ,as people around the world honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King,
Jr., the City of Denver continues the prosecution of 239 members of the
Transform Columbus Day Alliance who were arrested last October 9 for
confronting a columbus parade -- a celebrationthat commemorates and perpetuates the genocide
of American Indians. These brave individuals should not be regarded as
criminal defendants, but as defenders of human rights, who have not only a
